NJC Pay 2022 – settlement reached

As you may be aware the NJC employers’ offer of a £1,925 pay increase from 1 April 2022 has been accepted by the trade union side and will now be implemented.

The branch is currently speaking with St Helens Council to ensure members receive the pay increase and backpay ASAP and, understand that members will be paid at the new correct rate of pay and will receive any backpay due in their November pay.

We are aware that many of you are concerned about how this settlement will affect Universal Credit and below you will find a link to a document that gives details of how this may affect you.
